Healthy Hair?

I want to grow my hair long, and I want to know how to keep my hair healthy so It can grow long? What is the best shampoo to use?Healthy Hair?
im not shure wat shamppo will be good for your hair but the more you wash them the longer it will come outHealthy Hair?
herbal essences hello hydration.

occasionally hot oil treatments. keeps my hair healthy and shiney
pantene = bad in the long run. it can make your hair feel really heavy and after a while it will dry your hair out, at least from my experience.

but nice cheaper ways to keep your long hair looking nice is to use a deep conditioning treatment once or twice a week, try using gariner fructis. use a good shampoo and conditioner, herbal essences hello hydration works so well the conditioner is nice and thick and smells so yummy. garnier fructis has really nice shampoos and conditioners too. dove works nice too, but sometimes i find myself having to use a little extra leave in conditioner with it because it leaves my hair feeling a bit dry (even using the ';for dry or damaged hair'; formula) oh and speaking of leave in conditioner, use some of that too or use a nice hair serum. if you tend to have a more oily hair type just use the leave in or serum from the middle of the hair down to the ends (concentrate on those ends!)

for really really nice hair care products go to your stylist and ask which ones you should use, i like matrix and CHI products =]

make sure you get a trim regularly, and if you use heat in your hair make sure you use a heat protecting product before hand.
its not really a matter of what shampoo you use. just as long as its not something like white rain or cheap like that because that stuff is not good. anyways, you're going to want to get regular trims about every 3 months to keep it healthy.

Depending on your age and what you have done to your hair in the past (bleaching, perming, sun exposure, etc.) there are a few ways to get your hair health back without spending a fortune:

I personally don't believe in spending the bucks for the pricey shampoos and conditioners. I spent 25 years and a small fortune on them. Try these suggestions:

1. Limit the use of hot appliances and if you must use them, use with a spray on-leave in conditioner (any brand)

2. Try not to blow-dry your hair and let it dry naturally. When you blow-dry you are removing most of the natural oils which then makes your hair brittle...which then makes it break off creating: SPLIT ENDS! And split ends give the hair an unhealthy look and never seems to grow.

3. Definately apply a deep conditioner once a week, especially if you use hot appliances. Any brand will do but be sure it's a long acting one (that you leave on for 10-15 minutes then rinse out).

4. Limit brushing your hair. Everytime you brush...you remove hair.

5. Never brush your hair when it's wet. Your hair is like elastic when wet and when you tug it with a brush it snaps off. Use a wide tooth comb insead and always hold the upper portion of your hair while brushhing the lower and visa versa.

6. Try wearing a few hair extensions blended in with your own. This will give you a fuller look to your hair thus you won't feel the need to over-shampoo or over-style it. You can buy quality hair extensions at

at a very affordable price.

Good luck...oh, and try to be patient. Most people's hair grows only 1/2'; a month so it can be a long drawn out process.

pantene pro v
Mane %26amp; Tail or Garnier Fructis Length %26amp; Strength are the best.

I know that Herbal Essences has a new one called Long-Term Relationship that smells like raspberries, but I've never used it.
you should not shampoo your hair everyday it drys it out.

use the New dove repairing intense care.

panten conditionars have wax in them which drys out your hair, %26amp;alot of conditionars do. Currently im using Aussie 3minute miracle, but i really dont know if it has wax in it but it makes your hair super soft! Btw, i would look in the ingrediantes. Umm dont get hair extensions like that person said, It messes/drys up your hair, and they always have to be tooken out by a professional which costs more money, and to me its just stupid, wearing other peoples hair
Stay away from the drug store, walmart cheap brands. They have great shampoos / conditioners at Salon's or stores like Trade Secret. I just started using TIGI S Factor. Good Stuff that really works !!
*facepalm*

Well first of all, hair can build up tolerances to chemicals in specific brands of shampoos, so it's good to switch now and then.

I suggest you not use some crap store brand. Paul mitchell is a genius, and his tea tree line is fun, and feels fantastic.

Also once a week, apply cholesterol to your hair, massage in, and let sit 10 mins thin rinse (you can buy at any sally's beauty supply)

This will keep your hair hydrated.

Brush your hair before bed.
