Is it possible to turn split ends to strong healthy hair or do u really have to cut it?

I want my hair to remain long but i have quite alot of split ends. I am so scared of trimming cause my hair grow slow.Is it possible to turn split ends to strong healthy hair or do u really have to cut it?
6 weeks is too soon you need to cut them every three months and try a deep conditioner or a hot oil treatment trimming will not make your hair grow shorter sweetie im black and my hair is ';suppose'; to grow slow....but i go it cut on my jaw line for thanksgiving and got my bangs cut and like the 1st week of christmas it was down to my shoulders again try that.....Is it possible to turn split ends to strong healthy hair or do u really have to cut it?
You really do need to trim the split ends.

However, switch to a good shampoo and conditioner, so that you don't get as many split ends.

And eat a good diet, that will help with the strength of your hair and the speed at which it grows.

Contrary to popular belief, it will not grow faster if you cut it. But it won't slow down either.
you have to cut it. but if you use treatments after it will help ends not become damaged again. especially if you use a flat iron
Hair is made up of protein, so eat foods which contain plenty of protein like fish, eggs, liver, milk products, yeast, wheat germ, sprouts, beans, nuts and yogurt.Hot oil massages improve the circulation.More cheap and natural remedies for hair growth at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/growhair.htm鈥?/a>
You have to cut them because if you let them grow it will ruin your hair. Trust me it happend to me I cut my hair every 6 months.
once the hair ends split then u have to cut it sorry the ends won't grow back together
i heard if you trim your hair every six weeks like your suppose to,your hair will grow faster
your hair will grow faster if you trim off the split ends.
Split ends can't be repaired regardless of claims by these cosmetic companies. It's nothing but a gimmic. Take vitamins with 500 mg. calcium each day to help promote healthy hair growth.
its best to cut off all your split ends and dont color, staighten, curl,or die it for awhile plus find a really good shampoo and conditioner like pantene pro v and winter rescue pantene thats what i use
No you have to get it cut to get rid of split ends. Sorry. But after you get it cut try and moisturize with a good conditioner so that you won't get as many split ends. Try and get your hair cut every month just to keep it its healthiest. good luck.
I found a way to get rid of split ends! Sunsilk hydra tlc hair mask! pink container! it's awesome.. no more split ends!
You have to cut your hair. After you cut it off, your hair will grow very fast because there are less split ends. If you go to a barber shop, ask them how much they can cut off to make your hair healthy, and cut a little bit more, to ensure strength. Trust me, my friend used to have hair to her knees, and she never cut her hair in herlife. On the bottom of her hair, it looked tangled and every single one of her hairs were split. A year ago, she went to chop it off to the middle of her back, and know her hair is growing 1 inch a month. (That's a lot compared to an average human who's hair grows 1/2-3/4 inches a year. Before, her hair did not grow at all.) Her hair is shiny, healthy, and strong. Now, you don't have to cut that much, but cut a little more than your barber shop says. They just want you to come back more for business. You'll be glad you did.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!(-:
Split ends cannot be repaired. Sorry. You need to get them trimmed off in order for your hair to be healthy. Cutting your hair does not make it grow faster or slower.

Use a good shampoo and conditioner and use products that protect you hair from the heat of the blow dryer and thecurling/flat iron.

And NEVER EVER brush your hair when its wet. Always use a wide tooth comb. Keep a wide tooth comb in the shower and comb the conditioner through your hair. When you get out of the shower, use the towel to squeeze the water out of my hair. INever rub your head to dry your hair.
