What are some things to do for healthy hair growth?

I noticed that my hair doesn't feel very healthy/strong, kind of brittle or weak sometimes. i used to have a poor diet and lack of exercise, but in the past month or so i've begun to eat a balanced diet and exercise everyday. does that help, and what else does? does taking showers more help, or is one once every 36 or so hours fine? thanksWhat are some things to do for healthy hair growth?
Definitely shower once ever 24 hours...regardless of your hair...oh, and unless you have really greasy hair, don't wash it everyday. What are some things to do for healthy hair growth?
Hair typically grows 1/4 inch a month. Make sure you are getting a multi-vitamin in your diet and enough protein. Your body will only send surplus vitamins and protein when your body's needs are fufilled. That is how you grow healthy/strong hair. You can protect your hair from whipping wind, excessive heat and chemicals by wrapping it in a bun, putting it under a hat and removing chemicals (like chlorine or alcohol) immediately from your hair.

You will see a visible improvment in about 4-6 months.
