How do you get healthy hair?

My hair is dead dead dead.


I straighten it almost every day... depending on whether I hang out with people or not. It's fried, I use Herbel Essence, err somthing moisturizing conditioner, but that doesn't help much.


Is there any other way to have healthy straight hair?How do you get healthy hair?
k, so get it perminettely straightend, leave your conditioner in your hair for 5 mins before washing it out and condition everyday, also, use straightening shampoo and conditioner, and put olive oil in your hair for bout 5-8 mins to get it silky once a week. if you don't want it perminettely straightened, then take a shower, (with your straightening hair shamp and cond.) then put straightening hair product (redkin,etc.) then, on COOL blow dry your hair. to make it straight, take a rolling brush, curl up the ends, pull so that it tightens part of your hair and blow dry it straight. cool will allow your hair to not be damaged. also, take a break and don't straighten your hair on days you don't go to school or work so that your hair can replenish and take a break. one last thing. after taking a shower, (yes, with those products lol) put leave in conditionar in it, brush with a comb, put in straightening redkin (or other product) and put it in a tight bun to sleep in. i hope this helps! =]]How do you get healthy hair?

A few tips to get healthier hair:





Get it trimmed regularly.


Use a deep conditioner. It's recommend that you leave it on for 3-5 minutes, but once in awhile what I do is I put a shower cap on my head and leave it on for about an hour.


If you really must straighten your hair daily, try using a heat protecting spray. You just spray it on each time before you blow dry or straighten your hair and it helps protect your hair from all the heat damage.


Always use a shampoo/conditioner that says it's for damaged hair.


Don't wash your hair every single day. On the days when you don't go anywhere, you can still shower/bathe, but you don't need to wash your hair.

Although the healthiest of all straight-hair are probably the naturally-straight-haired ones, your hair can also be straight and healthy. You could try laying off the straightener for a while and focus on getting your hair a break. I'm not telling you not to shower, but shampooing/conditioning less may help. Try not to weigh it down with oodles of products either, for all that weight can add to the ';dead'; appearance.
