What is a VERY good vitamin to take for healthy hair?

I just got out of the shower and I am afraid to take the towel off of my head - I might be bald ; (

There was soooo much hair in the drain.

I use professional products and it looks healthy.

But if I go bald I will just die!!!

PLEASE HELP!

Thanks! What is a VERY good vitamin to take for healthy hair?
It's normal to have some hair in the drain. If you lost all your hair, it would be covering the entire bottom of the tub in a rather thick layer... it's really never as much as it looks like. Besides, everyone sheds a little hair, even animals do. Just look at how much hair dogs and cats ';lose'; when they shed, yet they still have lots of hair on their bodies. Shedding is a natural process of keeping your body temperature regulated.

That being said, Biotin, Silica, L-Cysteine, and MSM are some of the best nutrients for hair health and can help your new hair growth be much healthier.

That being said, it will be the new hair growth, not the hair that's already grown out, so it's not going to happen overnight... nothing will happen quickly for hair health. If you use a Biotin and/or Silica shampoo or some sort of strengthening shampoo, that will help the hair that's already grown out as well. Good luck! What is a VERY good vitamin to take for healthy hair?
Might be a good idea to look into heavy metal toxicity. Also, get your thyroid checked and make sure you're getting plenty of iodine from seaweed to feed your thyroid. Minerals are important with hair loss I've found. And in Chinese Medicine the hair is directly related to kidneys and adrenals. So if you're overly stressed, it worsens the problem because it taxes the adrenals (so can bad foods). You can check my page here if interested in supplement recommendations.
take Nutratose(glyco8). The stuff works like nothing else I ever tried. My hair is thick, healthy, shiny, and growing like crazy. In addition, the skin gets better, the nails get better, and bone aches and pains(athritis)get a lot better too.

However, it is normal to lose more hair in wintertime and so it might just be that you overreacted.....
Knox Gelatin. I didn't know they made it into an actual dietary supplement until I just looked it up. My great-grandmother used to take the regular packets of it and mix it into a drink (Orange juice i think) to strengthen her hair and nails. My mom did the same and she always had really long shiny hair and strong nails. I should probably start doing it too!
lots of things can cause hair loss, i don't think you'll go bald! i've been losing lots too, i think it's hormonal in my case. i have plenty left so i'm trying not to worry! i take omega 3 capsules and try to remember to take a multivitamin. i was going to copy this down but am just giving you the link instead, i don't know if it will be any help. near the bottom of the article there's some advise. wouldn't it be nice if it would just fall off our legs instead!!

Herbal healer academy has a product that works for balding.
fish oil gel caps are good... but it is normal from time to time to shed what seems a large amount of hair. All mammals shed, we do too.
B-12 and brewers yeast.
drink lots of green tea.
