Does damaged bleached hair sink in water? And does healthy hair that has never been bleached, float in water?

Does damaged bleached hair sink in water? And does healthy, normal hair that has never been bleached, float in water?Does damaged bleached hair sink in water? And does healthy hair that has never been bleached, float in water?
If hair floats in water, it is healthy. If the hair sinks, that is because it is overly porous (damaged), and could use some treatment. The porosity (in other words, holes in the hair you can not see) causes the hair to absorb the water, which is why it sinks. Hair does not necessarily have to be bleached to be damaged, regular haircolor or overuse of heat styling methods can cause the hair to lose optimum porosity as well.Does damaged bleached hair sink in water? Errr....never bleached, but dyed and it floats. Why wouldn't bleached hair float?
